Life cycle of a Jellyfish

More Than Just a Medusa

The most recognized image of a jellyfish is that of the adult jellyfish, with its bell-shaped body and long tentacles. But this image is just one of several stages in the life cycle of a jellyfish which include:

egg and sperm
planula larva
scyphistoma (polyp)
strobilating scyphistomata (polyp hydroid colony)
ephyra
medusa

Jellyfish experience alternation of generations in which one generation (medussa) reproduces sexually and the next (scyphistomae) reproduces asexually. The medusa form is the dominant form.

Egg and Sperm

Jellyfish reproduce sexually so adult jellyfish are either male or female. Male jellyfish release sperm into the water and the sperm then swims into the mouth of the female jellyfish (located on the underside of the bell of the medusa) where the eggs are fertilzed.
The fertilized eggs begin their development either inside the female or in brood pouches located on the oral arms.

Planula Larva

After the fertilized eggs have undergone embryonic develoment, they leave the mouth or brood pouch as free-swimming planula larva. The planula larva is a short-lived stage in the jellyfish's life cycle.

Scyphistoma (Polyp)

The planula larva eventually settles to the bottom where it attaches itself to a hard surface and transforms into a scyphistomata (or polyp). This polyp stage in the jellyfish life cycle is a sessile stage, so called because the polyp is stationary and not free-swimming.

Strobilating Scyphistomata (Polyp Hyrdroid Colony)

The polyp develops into a strobilating scyphistomata (also called a polyp hydroid colony) that is linked together by feeding tubes. The polyp hydroid colony, like the originating polyp, is sessile (that is, it remains attached to the hard surface and is not free-swimming).

Ephyra and Medusa

The polyp hydroid colony reproduce asexually to bud off tiny free-swimming jellyfish (called ephyra). The ephyra grow in size and become the adult (medusa) form of jellyfish.

1st, congrats to everybody for having made it throught the grueling second round of selection and managed to stay here in Hwa Chong, all of you should be proud of yourself, and we are 1 step closer to our goal! Heres our daily report.

Econ lecture, today continue on the concept of tax incidence. It is a long lecture, but I promise that the stuff will be put on the smb.

PE, running about in the field, throwing a ball and touching one another. Somebody got hurt while doing a touchdown. At first we were helping her to tread slowly, but in the end Eva say "aiya.. so mafan" and got up the stairs by herself. (Scam??)

Bio lecture, we were late so Angel Yang made us stand, and wanted to make us to CS, along with about 1/4 of the people in LT3.

I went to Chem lecture and saw Teo, he was giving the lecture in Audi, I must admit that his chemistry is a bit more pro than Ming Hao.

Last event of the day is Bio lab. We went to the lab, and we did the experiment. It was on counting bubbles. There were alot of them.

How come nobody is posting ah? but nvm i shall start the ball rolling. Today is sunday. In the morning, the sun was shining merrily, and the moons and stars had pon the whole day. But it rained in the afternoon. It was so sad, I tried to close my windows but I was slow by a nanosecond and thus my windows got wet, guess that I need to wash them soon. Hmmm.. after that I suddenly remember that I have school tomorrow, so I packed my bag and get ready. Hmmm.. after that I suddenly realise that I had not done my homework, so I unpacked my bag and get ready to do. Then the rain had stopped, I turned to my windows and I discovered that they were dry again!

This is a story about 4 pple named Everybody,Somebody,Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it but Nobody did it.Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.Everybody thought Anybody could do it but Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn't do it.It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done!

Half Day

Yesterday, the A-level results were released, once again, the HwaChong "fumily" has done us proud! Now we are among one of the top JCs in the island, because of that the school decided that to give a today a half day off. This is the first time I have been listening to such a speech at college, though experienced it a lot of time at high school, still rememeber the famous and beloved line Hon used to say, "I think all of you are in no mood to study... and I also need to give a treat to the teachers for their hardwork..."

The day's timetable: Bio lecture on enzymes by Angel Yang (I think she was abit slow, but luckily the concepts were more clearly explained). Chem lecture by Teo Ming en' (he was a wonderful teacher indeed!). GP by June Yang, it was on some story of a "buttock like"(quoted from Jingkai) atlas, and it could be the treasure map of Zheng He. During the lesson, stands from various experts of the faculty were discussed, including the world-renowned Xiao Chong. Actually the map got alot of continents and planets, I think it might be a satellite image took by an alien before his flying saucer crashed into Earth in the Ming dysnasty. Then the alien went to ancient China and changed his name to Zheng He. After which he used the map to persuade the emperor to let he take the imperial fleet to go find his lost saucer.

Then the school ended at 11.

On Sunday night 26/2, a class member (anonymous) posted pictures on other member which are sensually unhealthy and I assume without their permission too.

I have censored the post due to discontent express by other class members. For those who are interested the content, please look for the poster.

I oso dun wan to put any rules or restrictions on this blog, but I plead that all of you should recognise that this is a class blog and thus take into consideration the feeling of the rest of the class.

Hi everyone, I oso dunno why the tag-board reset la, not my fault, i went back to check but the setting there never say the tag-board can reset automatically. I can think of these following reasons.

1 is that the server there got broken down (cause by: viruses/ hackers / industrial spies / someone accidentally spilled coffee on the server computer!?)

2 is that due to some unexplainedable phenomenon e.g. Bermuda triangle, the previous posts just simultaneously cease to exist(!!??)

3 is that I deleted the posts without me knowing, under the assumption that I do not sleepwalk, it may due to memory erased from Alien abduction? Or somebody broke into my house at night and hypnothese me to delete the entries.

4 is that some1 got hold of the password, got into the account, just to prevent that from happening i changed the password.

lol... above is analysed by me (learnt from Keptian)

then the class also la, can help to post something or not? It is like almost the same few people everytime so I hope that all of you can participate more happily and proactively!! So that we may paint out a better future for us and the rest of the world.

hello pple.. i decided that i shall enter another entry on my day home.. this time the timing has changed.. it is after training.. then i was up on a 67 bus. ok so here it goes...

eh..the bus came and i boarded the bus and then i found a nice spot and then i settled myself comfortably onto the chair and i was about to enjoy the aircon...
just as i was about to doze off.. there came onboard.. FIVE guys that were super stinking lor.. then i was overwhelmed by the wave of odor.. i was totally blown.. then i noticed.. that they payed their fare with a 2 dollar note leh.. then i think the gy just throw the note into the "cashier-looking" like thingy... quite interesting lah.. lol! [eh then right the men moved to the back.. ]

wah! i was really choking on the smell lor.. then i was hoping that the smell would like fade away since they moved to the back of the bus.. the far end.... :s

ok just as i was trying to get use to the smell.. the bus stopped at the bukit timah food market.. and some pple boarded the bus... wah then there is this aunty. i really appreciate her effort to like i think gel her hair and be neat and all.. but she was fishy...as in literally fishy. I think she didnt change her clothes bah.. so that explains the smell lor. i tried hard to tolerate.. afterall that is what we learn in national education (NE) in school right? application....... ... ...

ok... so finally i am getting down the bus.. eh then the person that pressed the door bel was some guy that wore all white and was carrying his squash racquet and other necessary training gear.. he was listening to ipod... then he looked totally like a zombie and his eyes were like slits... cant see it at all lor.. at first i tot he was slp walking while getting off the bus.. then right.. he looked so unkept. so we got down the bus.. and he stayed at hume park 2 while i stay at symphony heights.. so as he walked along the roadside.. i cannot help thinking that he was drunk lor.. then just nua all the way home kinda thing.. yeah so that's about it lah...

eh i think this entry is not as nice as the previous entry.... but i have something to warn all future parents...

please try and monitor the condition of your kids when you become a parent....

first you see this poor boy has an oversized bag... and then he also is so hunched that he practically looks crooked..

then when it is raining.. the unbrella covers him up and we all cant see who is that...

eh this boy is very cute lor.. i see him sometimes when i go home in the afternoon.. i hope his parents knows that this is happening to him.. .. poor boy lol...

ok, so today is wednesday.
Lesson 1: economics lecture, our lecturer has changed to a new one, so there will be no more 大小姐 story about buying new cars, branded handbag and handphones.

Lesson 2: Chem lecture, Teo had prepared a surprise. (don't know if it is unexpected for others, but I did not know about it) He told us in his deep and bewitching tone that today would be mock spa. After comparing results with most people, I was not surpise at all to discover that my resuts were way off.

Break: only 30 minutes, everybody juz 冲 to the canteen...

Lesson 3: Math lecture (seriously I don't know what that was about)

CT session: Total defence competition, this is probably the most exciting event of the day. I could still imagine the roars and cheers of everybody in my mind's eye. There was a crippled contest on the stage, we have different laming people with different laming tactics. They truly amazed us.

4.Hes simply jus a kiampa acsian.(99.9% sure)

Event 2:Rainbow man
Nothing much to justify. Basically the black man is jus taking precaution for nightfall when he crosses the road.BUT he must be a pro person cos only pro pple wear asics shoes =).

Theres only one striking conclusion:

Event 4:The boy lives near anna
Either he really live there or he wants to dig anna's nose.

journey home from sch...

THere are just some things that are rather amusing while you take the public transport home... some pple just look quite cute and they do not realise that they could become a blog's entry content.

After i boarded the 171 bus from the HC bus stop.. i settles myself down onto a comfortable chair (4 seater) so there was in front of me this little ACS boy.. he looks a little chubby and and has rosy cheeks. HOwever... he had a bad habit. He was picking his nose profusely and i just kinda stared back at him.. and i think its partly his mother's wish to make him kick that disgusting habit and partly the pressure stare from me that made his mum beat him on the hand to ask him to stop picking his nose... so the little boy stopped.... ..... .... then cont digging again.. and his mum hit him again so he stopped.... and then cont again.. this occured a few times and i think the little boy got fed up with his mum's "beatings" that he turned and faced the window and DIG!!! to my amusement.. i think either he doesnt wanna listen to his mum.. he is not embarrassed by the fact he is digging nose in public.. or his nose is just chao itchy he die die also must dig.

ok then after a while there was this man that came up the bus. his skin was not very fair, it was rather dark.. but when i glanced down at this shoes right.. it was bright pink, orange, yellow and green... chao striking! it was gel- asics shoes leh.. lol..

then not long after.. there was this guy that looks quite cool with his ipod... but he had nothing on him accept a carton of magnolia fresh milk.. My First Post - Worst Day in 2006 so far

This afternoon was disastrous. Who would have thought that that man-whore son of a bitch would go for this additional and sort of optional recreational badminton session today... Sucks la... Keep making fun of me from the side galleries in the hall, every 5 minutes will repeat his moronic nonsense. Damn tough luck sia, he spoilt my day and I am quitting badminton to rid myself of this shit he's giving me whenever he sees me. I tolerated this nonsense ever since Sec 2 lor hello? Make fun of me can la, but for three years plus, just keep giving me the same shit over and over again, nonstop whenever he sees me? He should go @$#! spider lar seriously. I gave him a kick in fish tank before badminton... oh wow he confronted me as I was walking outside of fish tank heading towards high school side and says he want to kick me back. I am like HELLO!? Why the hell would I be so stupid to let you kick me? Fight lar! Damn spineless low-life... well actually he is an invertebrate. Spastic kid kept making spastic comments on the side galleries while I was playing badminton, really not is deserve a thrashing. Then dumb friend let him take over to play against me in badminton... I am like "omfg just what the hell are you thinking?" Okay never mind I played then accidentally hit Jung Hiong then Jung Hiong was sitting on the floor massaging the spot I hit. "Dont fake la!" Thats what that low-life said and JH was damn buay song also. Whoa that really made me blew my top. I could throw my racket over the net at him you know. Blah blah blah then I went to confront him. Wow seriously at that moment I could BREAK his skull with my racket but okay never mind I just slammed my racket at his racket which was held in front of him to guard himself. Meh. Seriously, if there was no law, I would have killed him three years ago. The best thing that can happen is that he gets involved in a car accident and SURVIVE while all his family members died, hopefully losing all limbs, eyesight, hearing as well then be cursed to live longer than the current Guiness Record holder for the longest lifetime. Wah, that is really damn zhai I tell you, that thought simply thrills me. Hope that comes true soon eh? Hope this post isn't too boring for you to read.

Hi all...
it is a warm monday evening n here i am typing my first ever blog. I have absolutely no idea wad to crap abt so here it goes..
Today being monday,which is the most sian day for me as it signals the start of another week of sch, went on quite usual. Starting with econs lecture which will be the last time we will be seeing the lecturer(i think) then it came to pe where everyone was expecting games but it turned out we had to run 2.4 which i failed of course... okay, so the day went on with the usual lectures and then it came to bio lab and it turned out angel yang was sick. yup, so sad..we will all miss her. Anyway, i just read in the papers that there are 2 english soccer stars caught on film in a homosexual act n that there was the use of a mobile phone as a sex toy(?) erhmm, think i shouldnt go on any further.

So, wad have i learn from blogging today?
1. It is a something u can do if u really have nothing better to do
2. I think stoning in front of a tv is much more enjoyable
3. It is quite easy to crap

Hope to see more people doing posts and not just using the tag board to imperonate others..and cheers for the rest of the week. jts should be on this weekend so hope the whole class will be able to attend and there will be fun times (i hope).

Its Sunday. Am i'm freaking bored. To the extent where i'll even do my tutorials =s. Anyway, i'm here to blog cos Anna Soo Jing Mei was kaobei-ing me for not posting, saying that the blog very sian. I don't even know what to blog about, never blogged in my entire life.. but i guess there's a first for everything. Not to worry... im not gonna give some mother father lame history lesson.. i'll leave that one to Lin Hai.. so i'll jus lame around a bit... I'll try my best to be refined and not punctuate my every sentence with vulgarities, for the sake of those people who cannot stand the sight or sound of profanities, a.k.a the one with the chopstick and the one with the really round face (haha pls don't take it seriously if i diss you.. its all in the name of fun so dont come kill me in sch)

Disclaimer - the topic im commenting about today may be uncomfortable to some, so please read at your own discretion. And whatever i said is not a true representation of what or who i am, im jus trying to entertain myself and our class people cos IM FREAKING SIAN THIS SUNDAY. dragon boat was cancelled zzzz.

Anyway, I was reading this morning's Sunday's Times (the main section.. i don't jus read comics ok.. i scour the entire newspaper for pictures of chiobus too) and i came across the article about Ericia Lee. The one on the last page. The one about how sex is better than chocolates. The only one that caught my eye and actually interest me to read. (damn chee ko pek i know.. but im pretty sure half the guys out there also the same... haha so dont anyhow point finger at me) So it was basically an interview with Ericia Lee, also dunno what for. Regardless, i think Ericia Lee is freaking kinky.. its the only plus point to watching Extreme Japan. Unless you're really interested in the land of porn. Back to the topic, i feel what she said is like damn DUH!! i mean come on lar... what the hell man? chocolate how to be better than sex? open your eye, use your blain and think.. chocorete u go any seven ereven can buy 3 for 5 dorrar - no kick, hanky panky is a long complicated process which i wont dwelve on but im sure many guys agree with me thats its difficult to attain (unless you're in America where girls will bed almost anyone, or unless you're kc =p) and when you do attain it, a piece of advice - share and you'll be a better man. lol.

Lets deviate away from topics revolving around sex (we're all hormones filled individuals, im not gonna risk getting humped by some unknown guy in school cos he read this post), so i'll share a bit on my personal feelings about our class. I think our class rocks! (duh.. anyone from other classes out there who doesnt agree with me come find me, we settle in toilet, EXCEPT if you are from track and field throwers, judo, rugby, canoeing, health and fitness, do weights for shuang one, a girl, tae kwon do or has a fetish for pull-ups push-ups sit-ups and whatever ups there are.) We have a very nice mix of sports people and arts people, so different yet able to mix so well. Its like ham and cheese, cheese fries and chilli sauce, minghao and tutorials, elmo and anna, JOANNE and ZHENGJIE... they just complement each other. To boot, our whole class is ownage in studies, which kinda leaves me a bit worried, but i'll bother about that when blocks are nearer. The thing about our class is that we're *almost all first class slackers. Slack but qiang. so everything is done at a damn slow pace, like EH lets go chinese high and eat.. then wait x 10^26, then ok lets go. But still, its what i love about the class. So i really hope no one has to leave, cos every one of you makes 77 what it is, no matter how 'solo' you are.

Anyway, i think im gonna end here. Blogging is really quite interesting.. burned quite a few mins of boredom. If i have tredded on anybody's raw nerve and they are unhappy about it, please bring it up to me and I PROMISE i will apologize profusely and never do it again. I'll even go for CS if u want me to. so yupp, i'll end of with a funny pic. (damn chem ILP btw) ~77 out~

If you have checked the calendar, you would have discover the greatest news of the week, today is monday!! This is not only the first day of school but also 1 day before Friendship day. To start the day rolling, we had a very interesting lecture on economics, this lecture took place in the grand, magnificent and brightly-lit LT3. Stepping into the lecture theater, a rush of chill air embraced everybody, this effect is mainly due to the air molecules diffusing down a pressure gradient from the cold and austere interior to the warm tropical air outside.

Next we had an interesting lesson known as PE. Does it bring back childhood memories? If not lets look at this:

hello! since all had to collect o level results today.... and i being the only one that was slacking.. i shall post something that might try and cheer those who are down and keep those happy amused. (eh crap lor :s ) i shall promise this entry has to history to it. hehe --> pardon me if there is any grammer (G) lax or vocab deficiency....

on thurs.. the day before o levels were released... a storm occures and ruined our plan to go coro makan... so instead we decided to go to our usual hangout -- the fishtank. Being little eager fishes... we are excited about playing cards so we dealt them and played bridge... unfortunately in the midst of excitement.. this teacher came along. She was nice lah.. she didnt ask us to visit the gaming station a.k.a CS but she just told us to keep the cards ... so we had to find something else to do lor..

there were 3 groups. one: lame in the fishtank two: play caram three: lame at the class bench

first must comment that the laming in fishtank was really LAME. there was a pro there and all of them just gathered around him and listened. so there was much laughter inside the fishtank lah. haha..

then there were those that played caram.. i must commend that CS and zhengjie are super pros in that game.. not sure whether they won all their events for that day.. but we also have to thank joanne, wenen, lynette, junzhi, shouhao for their enthusiastic participation.. hehe : )

so there are still those at the bench. there was nothing to do as it was pouring and the whole "wing" was flooded.. as in wet. so we decided we want to play frisbee.. but the frisbee is on the field and no one wants to fetch it..(raining mah) so keptian voluteered lor.. so he went out..and took the frisbee with the umbrella...

the cannot play frisbee lah.. so we looked at the pile of bags that were on the class bench and experimented with a few. so at last we found what we needed for the models to parade themselves all ard school.

eh. there was this bagpack that was super high so yong zhi got to wear it and then he had newspaper clipped on the side on his armpits and umbrella on the other hand. ---- nerd.

so kep tried to act chio and took on the leather nike bag and the tennis racquet..so both models paraded around the inner plaza doing catwalk.. visiting those playing caram and not forgeting those at the fishtank............................................. the end.

Aiya.. now is our daily report on the day's event!!

First item of the day, Bio Lecture, despit the fact that the lessons have been going on at such a fast rate, I feel that our new lecturer for protein is rather lame. (haha, no link rite..)

Ok.. speak of lame, heres a lame joke!!

A little boy was visiting his grandmother and the young boy asked his grandmother,"grandma, how old are you"? She replied, "you shouldn't ask me questions like that". A few minutes past and the young boy asked his grandmother another question, "how much do you weight"? The grandmother replied, "you shouldn't ask me questions like that"!

The following week when the little boy went back to school he told his friends about the coversation he had with his grandmother and how he was unable to get an answer from her. The little boy's friends advised him to look on her drivers license, all t he information will be there.

The next week when the little boy was visiting his grandmother he told her he knew how much she weighed and how old she was. The grandmother didn't believe him until he told her,"you weight 130lb., and you are 65 years old". Then the little boy in a ba shfull way wispered to his grandmother, "I also know you got an F in Sex".

Ok, back to more serious stuff, after the Bio lecture we have Chemistry lecture, and then we got to wacth "15", an interesting show about the lives of gangsters, how they live and fight and die. Later, we had a quiz during ah Lau's tutorial, if I have not remembered wrongly, it should be on functions. The day ends with a CSP lecture.

Tomorrow will be release of results for PSLE, lets pray hard for everybody!!

1) for total defence day we are required to do 2 tings nia... firstly, we need a model and an escort...the model, must be a gal, will wear a military uni while the escort will walk her down the aisle n intro the uni...n after putting it to a vote...weng chi wil be our model n wilson wil b the escort (weng chi's choice).....the other ting we need to do hor is to create a cheer for total defence day...supposed to submit the cheer today but thn we haven do rite so i threw the form away act blurr tt it went missing haha...but still need to create a cheer so tt we haf sumting to cheer on the day of judging (heard the head of FAC will be judging so cannot dun do...lol)

2) u all know the valentine's bear tt the council or dunno wat committee selling??? the order form is wif me, pls approach me if u wana buy but i will b passing the form down s usual so.... jus let u know la...

3) oh ya though abit late n pointless, jus wana remind whoever is reading tis on wed nite tt tml need to submit the GIRO form

First let us give a round of applause to Kep Tian's effort, the rest of you also post please and also remember to come to the class blog, if not I will feel like very sad.

So, I will keep today's post short, those who want to continue can post after this.

First lesson of the day was Econnomic lecture, in my dream I met a few of my classmates, guess that they must be sleeping, hai so slack. Next we have Chemistry Lab lesson, to celebrate the day we had several people opening champagnes... hooray!! And even though the correct chemical should be calcium, most of us were tricked by Mr Teo into believing that it was Scandium. After that was the Math lecture and the CT session with some CIP people coming to our school to bla bla bla.

Sensing that Lin Hai is very afk today, i decided to do him a favour by doing today's post. But even though its my post, be assured that the Lin Hai spirit lives on.....

And so i shall begin, today is tuesday aka tutorial day aka must do/copy ur hw day. The day is sian as usual but we tried to mantain our famed enthusiasm throughout. We perservered with grit and determination until 3.30pm where the fun was supposed to start. There was a hive of activity as we were all eagerly anticipating the school's..Annual..CrossCountry.. familarisation run. Some raced eagerly to the changing rms while others screamed in unison of something yellow and orange?!

Okay and so we went to the MAJESTIC MacRitchie Reservoir for the run which we did with excellence.

Oh ya i forgot the most important part. Read carefully hor.

MacRitchie Reservoir (Chinese: 麦里芝蓄水池) is Singapore's first reservoir. The reservoir was completed in 1868 by impounding water from an earth embankment, and was then known as the Impounding Reservoir or Thomson Reservoir.

Before the early 19th century, most of the Singapore main island was covered by primary forest. Soon after the British established a settlement in Singapore in 1819 and commercial activity took root, there was a demand for fresh water. However, it was decades before the settlement's first fresh water supply was established.

Over 100 ha of primary forest still flourish in the Central Catchment Nature Reserve today, particularly around MacRitchie. Rubber trees, remnants of the plantations there in the 19th century, can still be seen along the fringes around MacRitchie.

There are boardwalks skirting the edge of the scenic MacRitchie Reservoir and walking trails through the forest. They range in distances from 3 km to 11 km. Interpretative signboards along the boardwalks allow for a self-guided tour along the fringes of the MacRitchie forest.

Okay end of 1min tour guide. Back to the run, ok and so we ran our hearts out and clench our fists in truimph as we completed the ardous but fruitful journey. And den we went home and began our cyber-class gathering where evryone is spamming econs.

First Day of the Week

Today is monday, after the seemingly everylasting dull and prosaic weekend, the exciting and colourful school days are finally here. Despite the fact that I was late today, I could almost imagine the jubilation and ecstasy of my classmates as they squealed the nation anthem and school song loudly and proudly! It appeared that the blazing passion of everyone was so great that it moved the supreme beings above, a spectrum of 7 colors splashed across the azure sky and at the end of the rainbow laid a $2 note waiting to be picked up.

The first lesson was economic lecture, our lecturer too, was in a wonderful mood, by smiling broadly and appreciating those few who happened to walk in front of her. The concepts of demand and supply were also well illustrated by her cold jokes.

Next, is PE, we had an interesting intra-class basketball match, i felt so joyful and juvenile! It was like a whole bunch of little kids running about carefreely and happily.

After that were Bio lecture, Chemistry lecture and finally Bio Lab, and as I am sure all of you had been paying attention closely to these periods, I shall not touch on that.

Yesterday, all of us have to return to school for the Leap program on "Grooming", it is a rather long program, stretching from 9am to 5pm and was also rather interesting and engaging (as I guess it must be). In this very fascinating session, we got to learn more about the correct combination of cloth colors, posture and speech.

The later part of the day is set in for the long-waited-for STJ, and we are fortunate that our generous seniors have actually offered to treat us to Cafe' Cartel.

Today is Friday, first we had a very interesting session of CSP which was on the glorification of Bees, like young little children, we got the chance of reading the passage enthusiastically at the top of our voices... next after the break we have a similarly interesting lecture on Mathematics...

The highlight of the day was the debates, despite the intense competition, our team has done our class proud by braving through the dangers and obstacles with spirited hearts. Often, we were buried in blood and sweat, our battle shrouded within the mist and rain, but not once did we give up, not once! Our class, as together as always, lifted our heads and uphold the HwaChong spirit like true HwaChongians!
